Tutoring & Modified Supplemental Instruction (MSI)

In-Person and Remote

Learning Support Services (LSS) will have tutoring for most classes it supports. The tutors are undergraduate students who have previously taken this course and done well in it. Students can receive tutoring support in this course with the services listed below.

What to expect in a remote Zoom tutoring/MSI session?

  • Being on time helps the Tutor take attendance and address technological issues at the start of the session.

  • The Tutor may invite you to use Zoom features, such as breakout rooms, screen-sharing, virtual raising hands, and the Zoom Whiteboard. Be sure to check out Zoom tutorials and resources so that you are ready to interact with your peers!

  • You may need to practice empathy with your peers and your Tutor. Please be respectful and patient as people learn how to effectively use video conferencing and online services.

All Sessions are Accessible through our Sign-Up Platform, Tutor Trac.
