The bookstore is open for in-person shopping, though online ordering is still facilitated. Online orders can be picked up at the will-call window.

Free UPS Ground Shipping for All Online Orders

In an effort to support the student community, the Bay Tree Bookstore will be offering free UPS ground shipping on any order over $100, no code required. This includes all online orders for supplies, computers, and technology products.

The Bay Tree Bookstore offers competitive education pricing on Apple & Dell computers to help you work as efficiently as possible.

Access library resources online

Currently-enrolled students can access all electronic Library resources remotely including full-text articles, eBooks, and multimedia.

Your CruzID Gold login will provide access to the online collections available through the Library website.

Use the yellow Search box on the homepage or any of the Library’s subscription databases to find ebooks, articles, newspapers, music, primary sources, and more.

Use Campus VPN to authenticate as a UCSC affiliate

For the most seamless access, download, install, and log into the Campus VPN as well. This will ensure you are authenticated as a UCSC user even when accessing Library-owned materials you discover through Google or other search engines.

Return or Renew Books

Renew your books to extend the due date:

• Log into your Library account to renew materials online.

• Email library@ucsc.edu if you need assistance renewing books in your possession.

Students on campus who need to print or copy can do so through the UCSC Copy Center, located in Baskin Engineering, room B25 (in the basement just off the loading dock).

They are open M-F, 8am-4:30pm, charge 6¢ per printed/copied side in black and white or 39¢ per printed/copied side (check pricing) in color, and automatically bill through the student’s SBS account (your "student account").

Students can print to UCSC Copier Program devices using their student account to any accessible, Pharos-enabled device on campus. A list of these devices can be found here. Copier Program charges student accounts monthly at a rate of 6¢/side for black and white prints/copies, and 18¢/side for color output. Students can contact the Copier Program to get our Pharos printer drivers installed on their computers.

Students can also print in campus computer labs and at both libraries. They are also charged, at 12¢ (black and white) or 35¢ (color) per electronic page, and they also automatically bill through the student’s account.
